Perhaps that tenant was found, because Victory is being evicted. They will be open until the end of January. It's excellent -- sort of like a poor man's tasting menu -- and it'll remind many Italian Americans of their childhood Christmas Eves.

Thanks for signing up! They were even playing a mix of 80s and 90s music, which I love, so that was cool. Strangely, in the dance room, they were showing the winter olympics, and everyone was just standing there watching. It was kinda weird. As the night went on, the bar kept getting more and more crowded. Eventually, a few more friends showed up and couldn't get in because the bouncer wouldn't let them in.
The lines for the bathroom were so long that they were letting the women into the men's bathroom while making the guys wait All in all, the place was decent. Drinks weren't terribly expensive, but I liked the crowd and the music. The highlight of the night probably came at the end when the bouncer threw his cigar at our friends the same friends he wouldn't let in earlier. He looked like he was about ready to beat someone down, but we were faster.
Trust me, I don't even love paying cover at a hot club which this place is not. Drinks were reasonably priced, although the plastic cups they used made the place seem like a cheap dive. Crowd was pretty good. What really bugged me was the coat check: the girl had no idea what she was doing. She was rude to us and made us wait 10 min cos "there were no hangers. And then she gave us a lecture about how we should be happy to wait and that it wasn't her fault.
The customers behind us were complaining about her too, for similar reasons. The line of ppl at the coat check ended up taking close to half an hour. Not over done, it's my new favorite. Make out sessions galore. They give away a free bugaboo every birth, and the next subway series, for real, is going to be held in the downstairs room. Sonic youth, the cure, barak obama, audrey hepburn, kid koala are there, but you wouldn't know because they're in the i'm in the downstairs room mode.
Beat the arcade high score and i'm sure you get something good. I had my birthday here, went to another friend's bday, and also came here to dance at my friend's bachelorette. Every time, it was a great crowd, never too packed. Everyone in the parties always had so much fun and couldn't stop talking about how much they like the bar and atmosphere.
DJ is great, playing a mix of indie, throw back hip hop, current hits, etc. Great decor, different rooms downstairs- dance floor, bar, pool tables. Drinks are reasonably priced and strong enough. Highly recommend for a fun night!! Once I got there it took 15 mins to get a drink. When I finally did get a drink it was a weakly poured Gin and Tonic in an 8 Oz glass, filled with ice for 7 bucks.
I asked for Vodka Club Soda.
